Privacy Policy
1. Data minimization
MathQuest collects the minimum data needed to support learning — display names, grade context, and learning evidence. We do not collect full birth dates, home addresses, or advertising identifiers.
2. No advertising, no selling
We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell learner data. There are no third-party ad trackers in the learning experience.
3. Parent control of child data
Parents and guardians control child learner profiles. No public learner profiles, no public student search, and no child-to-child chat exist in MathQuest.
4. Payment data
Payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). MathQuest never stores full card numbers, CVCs, or raw payment-method secrets — only operational identifiers and normalized billing metadata.
5. Learning evidence
Learning evidence (problem outcomes, mastery states) is retained to support adaptive learning and reporting. Downgrading a plan never deletes learning history — only access changes.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, a correction, or account deletion from your account settings. Requests are reviewed by an administrator and are never auto-destructive.
7. Consent
Acceptance of this policy is recorded with a policy version so future updates are distinguishable from past acceptance.
